Please follow this link to join the petition against the decision to allow fee-based entrance to a large symbolic section of Vasona Park on April 1st and 2nd 2017. The specified area has been used for over 30 years free of charge and welcomed to all for showing respect and maintaining Persian New Year traditions.
We would like to express our strong opposition to monetizing cultural values and preventing similar situation in the future.
A copy of petition will be forwarded to board of supervisors santa clara county with the request for a formal response.
Furthermore we will directly engage supervisor Mike Wasserman and his chief of staff, John L. Gibbs to ensure such permits are not approved in the future.
Lastly we would like to request a refund of collected fees by Payam Javan and Shardad Khabir.
